What’s your experience with recovery?
We define recovery broadly and holistically, meaning we view almost everyone, including ourselves, as being in recovery from something. Whether it’s overcoming perfectionism, managing stress, or healing from substance use, the principles and techniques in recovery coaching can be applied to a wide range of challenges.
To us, recovery is about identifying unhealthy behaviors, releasing shame, and building the empowerment and support needed to embrace healthier, more values-driven behaviors.
Our team has been working with individuals in recovery since 2014, specializing in substance use, trauma, and mental health challenges. We have facilitated group therapy and peer support groups, and we always approach our work from a strengths-based, recovery-informed perspective.
What if I’m still using/engaging in unhealthy behaviors?
If you’re still engaging in unhealthy behaviors, we will work with you to assess your level of safety and co-create a plan for your ongoing recovery. If needed, we will guide you toward higher levels of care should recovery coaching not be sufficient support at any time.
It’s important to note that complete abstinence from unhealthy behaviors is not required to begin recovery coaching. We are comfortable working within a harm reduction framework, ensuring we meet you where you are in your journey while supporting your growth.
Where is your office located?
We are currently offering virtual recovery coaching sessions only, which means you can join us from anywhere that feels most comfortable for you. We do ask that you be in a private space without distractions to ensure the best experience. For some clients, that may mean taking calls from their car, just as long as the vehicle is stationary!
Can recovery coaching help if I'm not dealing with substance use issues?
Absolutely! While recovery coaching is often associated with substance use recovery, it can also benefit individuals dealing with a wide range of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, or perfectionism. We take a holistic approach, recognizing that recovery comes in many forms and supporting clients through all types of healing.
Can I access recovery coaching if I’m living outside the United States?
Yes! We offer virtual recovery coaching for clients worldwide, so no matter where you're located, you can access the support you need. Whether you're an expat, traveling frequently, or living abroad, our coaching services are available to you.
